The practice of sound doctrine

The French Textus Receptus Bible Project is a culmination of a desire and vision to provide an accurate and dependable translation of the Word of God to the French speaking cultures. It is our wish to place into the hands of true students of the Word of God a dependable French version of the Bible. It is our hope that God will use this translation to better equip the French churches for faith and practice in sound doctrine.

We understand that the devil is working hard to confuse people of all cultures by placing doubt upon the reliability of God’s Word. However, we know the effects of the Word of God upon a people! Thus, it is essential that the preacher of the Word of God have a truthful resource to stand upon when preaching.

A dull tool makes the work harder, but a sharp sword can cut the rough edges more easily. Defiled water makes for weakness and sickness. A shallow version produces shallow Christianity. A version far removed from the original texts produces a Christianity far removed from the path of God’s truth and justice.

French: the 14th most widely spoken language in the world

We intend to make the French Textus Receptus Bible the most accessible and most affordable in the world. This represents 220 millions of persons in 30 countries in the world who have French as an official language.

It is especially important that we reach into the third world countries with this revision. By no means is this a business opportunity. This is a ministry having the kingdom of God in view. The Lord declares in Proverbs 23:23 “Buy the truth, and sell it not.”
